This summer, Groundswell’s Strong Homes Program is offering a limited time discount on whole home air sealing and attic insulation. These two energy efficiency measures have proven to help keep your home cool in the summer heat while saving you money on your energy bills.

The Strong Homes Program brings homeowners together to collectively purchase energy efficiency services at a discounted rate from local businesses. Each Strong Homes group selects one business to work with to take advantage of exclusive group and individual discounts.

What you receive by joining a Strong Homes Group:

  • Whole home energy audit and report for just $100. The energy audit report detailing your home’s health and energy efficiency needs.
  • Access to energy efficiency rebates of up to $2,000 from your utility
  • Strong Homes group discount on whole home air sealing and attic insulation.
  • Individual Recruitment discount: for every friend you refer to the program by July 31 you will receive an additional discount on whole home air sealing and attic insulation.
  • Confidence in excellent service delivery: participating contractors in the Strong Homes Program have been certified by The State of Maryland and have a track record for exemplary customer service and quality assurance.
  • Knowledgeable Groundswell staff will work with you on every step of the process to answer any questions or offer advice when needed.

Recently a group of 12 homeowners from the Bethesda area completed their energy efficiency projects. One of the homeowners shared their experience:

“Groundswell’s knowledgeable and attentive staff provided a framework which allowed me and others in our group to select a capable and experienced contractor, and Groundswell personnel maintained close contact throughout the process, answering a variety of technical questions and helping to assure that the work was timely and properly performed,” Stephen Turow
