Did you miss the Silver Spring GreenFest? Don’t worry, because we filmed all the presentations from the day and added them to the Department of Environmental Protection YouTube channel. The Silver Spring GreenFest featured 5 main educational tracks, each with a keynote speaker and a panel of local experts.  The keynote speakers were:

  • Getting to a Low Carbon Future with Betsy Taylor
  • Transforming the Consumer Culture into a Culture of Sustainability with John Mulrow
  • Reflections on the Extinction of the Passenger Pigeon 99 Years Ago: Implications for Modern Life with Dr. David Blockstein
  • Creating a Broad-based Movement to Enhance Communities and the Environment with Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr.
  • Food: The OTHER Big Sustainability Challenge with Janet Ranganathan

The playlist below has a separate video for the keynote speakers and each panel. If a power point presentation was included, it is featured at the end of the presentation.
