In honor of Community Service Week, the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection will be sponsoring several activities from Saturday, October 18 to Sunday, October 26, 2014.

Have you ever wondered what happens to all the stuff that is washed off from the roads and parking lots when it rains? Well this is your opportunity to see where litter may end up!
At both locations volunteers will help with:
Both will be held Rain or Shine. Be ready to get a little dirty and have fun!
Anything that ends up on sidewalks, roads, or any surface outside may eventually make its way via storm drains to our local rivers. Painting storm drains with art not only looks great but can convey the message of keeping things out of our rivers and streams.
