Twice a year, local botanists and tree experts Joe Howard and Carole Bergmann, host a tour of Champion Trees in the County. This fall, the tour is October 21st.  Touring old trees might not sound that exciting at first, but when you stand in the presence of some of the largest trees in the region, Joe and Carole, think you’ll be inspired.  Plus it is a great way to explore some of the hidden treasures of the County.

Read the Washington Post article by John Kelly on the Champion Trees Tour and how Joe and Carole’s passion for trees guides their Champion Tree Tour.
