Greenbriar Local Park, located at 12525 Glen Road in Potomac, MD, is a new 25-acre park that will provide visitors plenty of green space as well as different recreational opportunities and play equipment. The park’s theme, “The Journey of a Raindrop”, will encourage visitors to learn more about watersheds and the nearby Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. In addition, the park boasts two award-winning playgrounds, a regulation soccer/football field, a basketball court, a grass volleyball court, a paved trail, and plenty of picnic table seating!

This park will be managed by Montgomery Parks, a department within the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Montgomery Parks manages a park system of over 400 parks across 34,000 acres, including 500+ lakes, 457 miles of streams, and over one thousand tennis courts, athletic fields, playgrounds, basketball courts, trails, picnic areas, historic structures, campsites, and park activity buildings.
