Earth Hour is a movement to unite people around the world to making positive changes for the environment. By turning off lights and electronics for one hour, millions of people join together to make a statement that they care about the health of the planet.
This year, Earth Hour is on March 25th at 8:30PM. Wherever you are in the world, from 8:30-9:30PM, you are invited to turn off the lights. How you spend the hour is up to you!
National landmarks, cities and even casinos on the Las Vegas strip will be participating in Earth Hour. Montgomery County is encouraging residents to go dark for Earth Hour.
Stay safe during Earth Hour! Keep on lights that impact public safety and be careful when using candles.
During the hour the lights are off in your home, invite friends and family to talk about the significance of Earth Hour.
