Job Opening at the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection

This position will be responsible for providing program management for the Water Quality Protection Charge (WQPC), the main funding source for meeting the requirements for water quality improvement under the permit issued by Maryland Department of the Environment.  This position will formulate the budget for the program in coordination with DEP Divisions, assess the implementation of the program, facilitate coordination with other County agencies that rely on WQPC funds, develop communication materials for target audiences and identify information technology needs to enhance the efficiency of the Department’s implementation of the program.  Evaluate and provide recommendations to the DEP Director (or their designee) on WQPC credit applications and appeals.   To read more about this position and apply, click here.
