Calling all landscapers, lawn care pros, garden caretakers, park and land trust managers, landscape architects, educators, gardeners, and anyone else who is interested in learning how to care for properties without toxic materials!
This January, the Northeast Organic Farming Association is hosting an accreditation course in Organic Land Care.
Using the most recent 6th (2017) edition of the Organic Land Care Standards as a guide, this course is helpful to anyone who is interested in practical, standards-based organic methods to increase the health of all in our Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Accreditation as an Organic Land Care Professional is available for those completing the course and taking the certification test.
This 30-hour, 4-day course offers a well-rounded curriculum which will cover organic land care principles, practices, design, and maintenance. For an example of a schedule of topics that will be covered: Click Here for Sample Schedule.
