October is Energy Action Month and this year, we have decided to dedicate the first week to Energy Assistance. Qualifying residents are able to receive information and assistance to help pay and lower their utility bill costs. The Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP) makes energy costs more affordable, prevents the loss of home energy service, and helps restore interrupted service. There are various types of assistance programs available to customers and during this week, residents are able to stop by, learn which program is right for them, and apply for a program.
Stop by Energy Assistance Week:
Tuesday, October 1 – Friday, October 4, 2019 8:30 am – 4:30 pm The Health and Human Services Office 1301 Piccard Drive, 4th Floor, Rockville. MD
