Pepco Maryland customers can now take advantage of new rebates to help offset the cost of electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The rebates are part of Pepco’s new EVsmart Program, which provides rebates, tools, and information to help customers make more informed decisions when it comes to making the transition to a cleaner transportation option. Through this new program, Pepco provides two types of vehicle charger rebates, residential and multi-family.

The EVsmart Program fuels progress on Maryland’s Air Quality and Chesapeake Bay goals, which include having 300,000 zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) on the road by 2025; currently, less than 20,000 ZEVs are registered in the state.
