The theme of this year’s Energy Summit is “Focus on the Here & Now,” highlighting how existing building owners can improve the performance of their commercial buildings to reduce energy use and help the County achieve carbon neutrality by 2035.
The Energy Summit includes in-depth workshops on innovative energy projects, building commissioning approaches, renewable energy technologies, sustainable building strategies and County and other regional commercial energy efficiency programs. Visit the Energy Summit website for more information about specific sessions.
The Energy Summit will offer much for building owners, property managers, energy contractors working in the County, young professionals in the energy field or anyone interested in sustainable commercial buildings.
Following the Energy Summit, United Therapeutics will host a post-event networking reception from 4-7 p.m. at the Unisphere, its newest net-zero energy building. The Unisphere is located nearby the civic building at 1000 Spring Street in Silver Spring.
This reception is included with registration to the Energy Summit, but tickets to the reception also can be purchased separately here.
