My husband and I are Colorado residents, but we have been in Gaithersburg a lot this spring because we are cleaning out the home of my father-in-law, a 52-year resident of Montgomery County who passed away in January.

We thought Colorado was pretty darn progressive when it came to the environment and recycling, but we have been completely blown away by your recycling center! It is amazing! It is incredibly user-friendly and accessible, and the volume of materials you handle puts our county out here to shame.

We could not believe that the center is open [every] day, and the staff is super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Really, I never thought I’d be writing a love letter to a recycling center before, but we really love your facility and are going to recommend that our local county look at your model.
