The Montgomery County Green Bank has launched its energy efficiency and renewable energy program called the Clean Energy Advantage (CEA) Residential Financing Program. The Green Bank has partnered with Clean Energy Credit Union and NASA Federal Credit Union to offer the loans under the CEA Program. The CEA Program loans may be used for energy efficiency or renewable energy improvements on homes in Montgomery County.
Under the CEA Program, these lenders will offer exclusively to Montgomery County homeowners a preferred interest rate on their loans; a rate that is not generally offered for the financing of clean energy home improvements. The lenders in the CEA Program provide loans to cover more comprehensive and deeper energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy improvements, like solar PV – up to $35,000 for up to 12-years depending on the project!
The CEA Program works through Participating Contractors who have signed up with the Green Bank to participate in the CEA Program. Homeowners can access the lenders offering the loans through these Participating Contractors. A list of these contractors can be found on the Green Bank website at: www.mcgreenbank.org, you may also reach the Green Bank at 240-453-9000 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
