Energy Summit 2020 Logo

The seventh annual Montgomery County Energy Summit will focus on energy efficiency for commercial buildings and residential properties. This is a premiere energy event for building owners, property managers, energy contractors, residents, and other green building professionals working in the County and the larger DMV area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Summit will take place virtually over 3 days, Tuesday, November 17th through Thursday, November 19th.

Our theme, “A Path to Zero,” will explore strategies, technologies and case studies on the commercial, multi-family, and residential-built environments moving the County toward its ambitious climate goal of carbon neutrality by 2035. The Summit will include breakout education sessions, networking salons featuring the latest in sustainable products and services, a virtual happy hour on Tuesday, and a virtual Energy Roadshow on Thursday. Education sessions have been approved for GBCI continuing education credits, and attendees may earn up to 9.0 general GBCI CEs over the course of all 3 days (3.0 CEs per day).

The summit is co-hosted by Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the US Green Building Council National Capital Region (USGBC NCR).
