Washington Gas is Offering an Extra 15% on High-Efficiency Natural Gas Equipment Now Until December 2020

Washington Gas is committed to the well-being of our customers, especially when it comes to saving money and energy. We have made a commitment to lend extra support to residential customers in Maryland by increasing Existing Home Program rebates by 15% now through December 1, 2020. Rebates are available for customers upgrading their home heating, home appliances and water heating equipment.

Washington Gas participates in the EmPOWER Maryland initiative, helping homeowners and other residential customers throughout Maryland to reduce their energy consumption and save money on utility bills.

Participation is easy. To get started:

  1. Visit washingtongas.com/mdhome to search for a licensed contractor in your area.
  2. Have your participating contractor install qualifying energy-efficient equipment.
  3. Your participating contractor will submit a rebate application on your behalf.

    Within the last year, my husband and I had some renovations done at our home. Included were installations of a new hot water heater and a new gas stove. What do we need to do to qualify for and receive the 15% high-efficiency natural gas rebates?
