Watershed Grants are OPEN!

Grant opportunity NOW OPEN for 501c3 nonprofits to protect water quality and reduce stormwater. The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Trust is accepting proposals from 501©3 organizations to support watershed restoration and outreach throughout Montgomery County.

Deadline to submit proposals is November 12, 2020 at 4:00 pm and a virtual informational session will be held on September 16th from 6pm-7:30pm for potential applicants. To participate in the virtual session or for questions, contact the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Grant Manager, Jeffrey Popp, 410-974-2941, ext. 103. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Trust to discuss any project ideas prior to submission.

This grant opportunity, with awards up to $100,000, is funded through the Montgomery County Water Quality Protection Charge.
