During the second week of Energy Action Month, the spotlight is on your home. A key way to help the County meet its climate goals is by electrifying home appliances/systems by replacing fossil fuel-powered systems with electric alternatives. Heat pumps are an ideal, energy-efficient alternative to furnaces, boilers, and air conditioners. Efficient electric water heaters are also an option worth exploring.
On Saturday, October 15, 2022 – Jim Conlon from Elysian Energy discussed how homeowners can switch to electric heat pumps, if you missed it, the session was recorded and his presentation can be found here: Heat Pumps 101.pptx.
