Give Your Old Bicycle a New Life!

How? Donate it at the Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s annual Bicycle Donation Drive on Friday, October 20, 2023!

Donations accepted from  7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Oct. 20, 2023, rain or shine. Outside of the Montgomery County Council Office Building Garage at East Jefferson and Monroe Street in Rockville.

Your donation of previously owned bikes will have a continued impact in our community. In 2022, MCDOT collected 370 bicycles which topped the record set in 2021 of 297 bicycles. Help break the record and drop off your donation!

Donations will go to:

• The Rockville Bike Hub, a non-profit organization whose volunteers refurbish the bikes and give them to low-income residents throughout the County, through Rockville’s Terrific Kids and MCDOT’s Bike Match MoCo program.
• Bike For The World will also be taking some of the donated bicycles for their various programs.
