Helped residents save 9.5 million kWhs by swapping old light bulbs for LEDs at Light Bulb Exchanges. Over the lifespan of the new bulbs, that saves enough energy to drive a Nissan Leaf around the world 2,908 times!
Light bulb exchanges have helped us safely recycle 9,915 compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) keeping mercury out of our environment – learn more RECYCLE RIGHT
We anticipate that residents who have attended light bulb exchanges and have swapped out their bulbs saved around $1.7 million dollars!

We have been working to help the County reach their goal to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions 80% by 2027 and 100% by 2035. Since energy usage is one of the main contributors to changes in our climate every interaction we have with residents helps us get closer to that goal.
