What is Stream Restoration?

Stream restoration is the process of improving and rehabilitating natural water systems that have been impacted by human activity or environmental changes. By restoring streams to their natural state, we can help improve water quality, reduce flooding, protect wildlife habitats, and promote the overall health of the environment. These projects focus on stabilizing eroded streambanks, reducing pollution, and enhancing biodiversity.

Why Does It Matter?

Stream restoration projects are essential for cleaning our waters and reducing the harmful impacts of urbanization and climate change. Restoring these water systems ensures that our community has access to cleaner, healthier water sources, and provides long-term environmental benefits. By supporting these efforts, we’re making sure that future generations can enjoy and rely on our natural resources.

More Videos Coming Soon!

This is just the beginning. In the future, we’ll be producing more videos to explain the specifics of individual restoration projects. These videos will provide in-depth insights into the goals behind each project and their environmental impact. We want our community to have a full understanding of how these efforts contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
