Once Elysian Energy reaches out, you will get to choose between the following:
Virtual Electrification Assessment – No cost through the Electrify MC pilot program. This video call would give you a chance to talk with our electrification specialist about electrification options and determine what makes the most sense for your home and budget prior to scheduling an on-site visit to finalize a proposal.
On-site Electrification Assessment – $0-$300 depending on what electrification work you are interested in and what utility programs you are eligible for. This visit would include load calculations for the electrical panel and modeling to determine proper sizing and pricing for a new HVAC system and any appliances you’re considering replacing.
$0 for appliance-only assessment if you’re eligible for a Quick Home Energy Check-up
$100 for appliance-only assessment if you’re not eligible for a Quick Home Energy Check-up
$300 for HVAC assessment and Manual J
On-site HVAC Electrification Assessment and Pepco Home Energy Audit – $300 if you are eligible for Pepco’s subsidized energy audit (which covers an additional $300). This is a good first step if you are interested in weatherization work along with your HVAC electrification project.
Step 3: Receive a Proposal
Once you have completed the assessment, Elysian Energy will provide you with a proposal – there is no-pressure, no-obligation to accept this offer. You can decline at any time. On that proposal, you will see the Electrify MC proposal amounts, you can see the current direct incentives amounts on the County site.

Once you have signed a contract, the work will be scheduled, completed, and installed in a timely fashion and you will receive guidance on how to apply for federal rebates.
