Family Empowerment Resource Fair (Formally Single Parent Conference) 

1. The mission of the Family Empowerment Resource Fair: is dedicated to educating and connecting individuals who care for children of all ages with the resources they need to be successful at parenting, furthering their lifelong learning, and thriving in Montgomery County. 
2. The purpose: to provide a framework of understanding, and a resource for tools on how to maintain and develop a nurturing safe space wherever you are on the journey of developing your family naturally.  
3. It has changed from Single Parent Conference to the Family Empowerment Resource Fair to be more inclusive of and meet the needs of Montgomery County residents. 

 Who is the conference for? Parents (mothers, fathers, stepparents, foster parents, guardians, etc.). 

 Montgomery College, in partnership with United Bank, strives to provide the community with information and resources to empower family and guardians to assist them in making informed decisions with a positive impact on the lives of children. We strive to create a welcoming environment for parents and children to share their experiences and learn skills, gain access to resources, and familiarize themselves with services available to them in the community, and at Montgomery College to support their parenting success and economic prosperity. 

Montgomery Energy Connection will be there to provide information on how to lower utility bills and keep money in your pockets!
