Because the porch is often the entryway into the home, we decided to use this as the first point of contact to reach residents to talk about using less energy. Trained Energy Ambassadors walk through the neighborhood and swap out incandescent and compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs for LEDs. If you would like to bring this program to your community, organization, or HOA ā email energy@montgomerycountymd.gov and we will schedule something for you!
