This year’s chapter conference will be held on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14, 2019 with educational sessions on the 13th at the Silver Spring Civic Building (1 Veterans Place) and mobile workshops across the region on the 14th.

The Friday conference will offer AICP planners the opportunity to earn 5.5 CM credits, including Ethics and Law credits, and all attendees the chance to rub shoulders with planning colleagues and gain insights into the best planning in our region.
We are pleased to announce David Bowers, vice president and Mid-Atlantic market leader for Enterprise Community Partners, as keynote speaker on Friday morning. His work includes facilitating affordable housing and community development transactions and policy implementation in collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas.
Mobile workshops will be held on Saturday, September 14th at locations throughout the region. Most are free to attend for Friday conference attendees and available for a modest cost for mobile workshop-only attendees.
The conference is open to chapter members and non-members alike. Friday registration includes breakfast, lunch, and a post-conference reception at All Set Restaurant. Early Bird Registration ($50) runs through August 18th; Full Registration ($65) will be open August 19th through September 6th; and a discounted Student Rate ($20) is available, subject to enrollment verification. Separate registration is required for mobile workshops.
