The Baltimore Chapter of the African American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is pleased to announce that Commissioner Obi Linton will be speaking at our next meeting on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. The meeting will be held at BGE, 110 W. Fayette St. Baltimore, MD 21202 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This will be our official Membership Kickoff and we hope you can join us. So, come out and meet NEW members and have conversation with OLD members!!
We are asking for a donation of $20.00 to raise money for our Scholarship Program!!
Food will be served! Lots of door prizes.
Our chapter’s mission is to promote the overall agenda of AABE’s national office, by facilitating events that ensure the input of African Americans and other minorities into the discussions and developments of energy policies, regulations, R&D technologies, and environmental issues. In addition AABE Baltimore strives to meet the needs of our community within Maryland, through energy education, school partnerships, community service and business networking. Professionals and businesses from all energy and energy-related fields (oil, gas,electricity, nuclear, renewable, government, technology, energy services, and hydro) are welcome to join our chapter.
