Our calendar features upcoming community events for those who enjoy a mix of outdoors, activism, creativity, and learning. All event submissions are reviewed for relevancy and accuracy and are posted within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday.

Community Shredding & E-Waste Recycling Event
Just in time for spring cleaning. All paper will go through a secure document destruction process and be recycled. Select electronics may also be brought to the event for recycling, and CFL and incandescent light bulbs (no LEDs) will also be accepted this year. Please note, CFL bulbs should not be put in the trash due to the release of mercury when the bulb breaks. Click here for a list of accepted materials. Event is free; food donations graciously accepted by Gaithersburg HELP in support of their community pantry.
