January 26 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
‘Eco Evenings’: Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and One Montgomery Green Team start the new year of Eco Evenings with special guest David Gershon.
“Eco Evenings with DEP and OMG,” a series of virtual town halls open to County residents to discuss relevant environmental topics that are important locally, will kick off for 2022 on Wednesday, Jan 26, at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation on neighborhood initiatives featuring special guest David Gershon, Managing Director Cool Block, CEO Empowerment Institute. The series is sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and One Montgomery Green (OMG). Eco Evenings convene on the last Wednesday of each month.
Eco Evenings is hosted by Wendy Howard, Executive Director of OMG to lead discussions on timely environmental topics, answer questions and engage with special guests. Also joining the conversation on Jan 26 will be Rezwan Razani – the Founder and Executive Director of Footprint to Wings (fp2w.org), a 501c3 impact organization that is launching, coaching and tracking the race to be the first net zero carbon state.
OMG Director Wendy Howard said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with DEP for Eco Evenings again. We look forward to a new year with new partner and innovative and timely topics from eco experts. This is a perfect fit for the type of work that OMG takes on and it is a great way to bring County residents together.”
