Environmental Stewardship & Going Green Workshop Series

How can we act as environmental stewards to take care of God’s creation? What does the Bible say about our duties as environmental stewards of God’s creation? What is rainwater harvesting and how can it fulfill our duties as environmental stewards? How does limiting stormwater that flows out of our property help the environment? What can we do in terms of energy conservation at our parish and homes to fulfill this duty?

Location: St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church – Williamsburg Room, 805 Wayne Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20910
Parking: Parking is available at 810 Wayne Avenue Silver Spring, MD or at the many public parking garages nearby. Public garages are free to park after 7PM.

Speakers: Jodi Rose, Executive Director of Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake for 6 years, prior to which she worked in the environmental consulting field. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Jodi served as a Client Manager for ENSR/AECOM and later ran her own consulting business before relocating to Maryland.
