Looking for fun activities for your kids? Or how about a new wildlife documentary film screening? Or maybe, a workshop on gardening or bike repair? Our calendar features upcoming community events for those who enjoy a mix of outdoors, activism, creativity, and learning. All event submissions are reviewed for relevancy and accuracy and are posted within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday.
The Community Museum hosts Green Cocktails: Sustainability is Easier than You Think, a virtual series that explores the concept of sustainability, how it impacts us, and the simple steps we can take to help the world. The “cocktail” part of the program derives from the pairings with local breweries, distilleries & meaderies. Cocktail recipes and sustainable business practices are shared as part of the discussion. Green Cocktails 2022 streams free on the Community Museum Facebook Page. The discussions are appropriate for ages 14 & older, while the cocktail recipes are suitable for those 21 & older.
