| Join Montgomery County’s Department of Permitting Services to learn about the new solar setback requirements in the 2018 International Residential Code. Meet Tyler Mosman, DPS’s senior engineer, who will be discussing Montgomery County’s interpretation of pathways as well as identifying common reasons residential solar plans are held up in permit review. Tyler Mosman, PE. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland at College park has over 20 years experience in the Fire Protection and Electrical Engineering Industries. He has experience as both a private design consultant and as a public review and inspection authority which gives him an in-depth knowledge of the entire design process including initial needs assessment, drawing creation, design review, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
