Maryland Pepco customers are invited to participate in an Appliance Recycling Drop-Off Event on Saturday\, October 5th between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. at Eastern Middle School in Silver Spring\, MD. Participating is easy – customers can simply drive up and Pepco will take the mini fridge\, room A/C\, or dehumidifier from their car\, recycle it\, and send them a check for up to $100. Pepco customers can recycle up to two small appliances per year.

DESCRIPTION:Has your congregation gone solar\, but now you aren’t sure how to read your electric bill or can’t tell how your house of worship is benefitting or how much money you’re saving? \nOver the past year\, we’ve heard from several area congregations with solar panels that they need help understanding how exactly they’re benefitting from the solar energy they’re generating \nJoin Interfaith Power and Light on Nov 25 at 7pm ET to learn how to read your solar congregation’s electric bill\, understand what your electric bill doesn’t tell you\, and how to determine what your savings and what your house of worship would be paying for energy without your solar panels. \nPlease come to the call with the most recent electricity bill for your solar congregation (all pages)\, as well as the last year’s worth of solar production for each month in Wh or kWh.
