The Division Chief for Capital Projects and Energy reports to the Deputy Director of Baltimore City’s Department of General Services (DGS) and leads a team of approximately 20 employees, responsible for the daily operations of a service organization. Management responsibilities include the development of policy, supervision of personnel, and the planning/implementation of consistent business practices throughout the Divison. The position also involves establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with customer departments and other external stakeholders. The scope and complexity of duties for this role will require the individual to exercise independent judgement with limited supervision.

The Capital Projects and Energy Division is a team of architects, engineers, project managers, design professionals, energy managers, contract managers and accountants. The Division is directly responsible for the capital planning, design, construction, renovation, energy acquisition and management for roughly 13M GSF of buildings space the City of Baltimore owns and operates.
The office is located at 200 N. Holliday Street, in downtown Baltimore City.
