The City Policy Fellow is an exciting new position at the U.S. Green Building Council. The Fellow is a one to two year appointment suitable for a recent graduate or emerging professional seeking a unique opportunity to learn about buildings policy.
Sitting within the Advocacy & Policy Team, the Fellow will work at the cross-section of research and implementation of climate forward building policy. The Fellow will engage with city officials, advocates, ally organizations, and researchers to understand and frame green building policies. The Fellow can expect to track and analyze recent research in green building policy as well as green building outcomes at scale, and may develop her/his own research project or participate in or support research by academics and other partners. Additionally, the Fellow will work with one or more cities to develop green building policies. The Fellow will participate in department-wide activities, engage with internal and external stakeholders, plan and execute projects, make presentations, and write articles, briefs, and reports.
