In directing all aspects of this dynamic nonprofit, your responsibilities will include:
–conducting an activist campaign as part of a large coalition that is working to address our climate crisis;
–managing the organization’s dedicated volunteers;
–running day-to-day operations of the nonprofit; and
–initiating and carrying forward with fundraising efforts to meet the organization’s budgetary needs.
The qualifications that you will likely need for this opportunity of a lifetime include:
–great concern about the climate crisis;
–large amount of energy and enthusiasm;
–desire to manage and grow a nonprofit business;
–some formal education and relevant experience; and
–having enough personal income and insurance so that–at least initially–the small stipend that you earn from this position is superfluous.
