Are you interested in helping to create a more sustainable future by reducing energy use and carbon emissions? Do you love to solve problems by working with partners? Are you interested in new technology and how technical innovation can help slow climate change? If so, consider applying to Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) for this Associate position.

NEEP was founded in 1996 as a non-profit organization to accelerate energy efficiency in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. We are one of six regional energy efficiency organizations funded, in part, by the U.S. Department of Energy to support state efficiency policies and programs. Our mission is to accelerate energy efficiency as an essential solution that enables a sustainable regional energy system and slows climate change. This supports our region’s long-term shared goal to reduce carbon emissions 80% by 2050. NEEP is based in Lexington, Massachusetts, with staff in locations around the region.

NEEP seeks candidates interested in clean energy and climate stabilization, to contribute to our work in low carbon building technology market transformation (see NEEP’s website). The Low Carbon Building Technologies Associate is a key member of NEEP’s low carbon building technologies team who works collaboratively with industry, utilities, states, and federal agencies to accelerate the regional market adoption of energy efficient, low carbon technologies and practices. NEEP’s Low Carbon Building Technologies Associate will contribute to the following regional initiatives: Heating Electrification and Grid-interactive Homes and Buildings (see NEEP’s website). The Low Carbon Building Technologies Associate reports to the Director of Technology and Market Solutions.

We are seeking candidates who reside in NEEP’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. This position can be remote with occasional visits to regional meetings or our office in Massachusetts. We are working remotely now with voluntary office sign-up.
