The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) is a not‐for‐profit organization established in 1984 by a bipartisan Congressional caucus to provide timely, credible information for policymakers and influential stakeholders, and promote innovative environmental and energy solutions. Today, our mission is to advance science‐based solutions for climate change, energy, and environmental challenges in order to achieve our vision of a sustainable, resilient, and equitable world.
The Policy Associate will help advance climate, environment, and clean energy policies and solutions that will put the U.S. on a cleaner, more secure, and sustainable path. The Policy Associate will conduct research and analysis in support of EESI’s Congressional education and policy development activities on and off Capitol Hill. The Policy Associate will work with a diverse range of people and contribute to outreach to a wide audience, including members of Congress and their staff, federal officials, business and industry leaders, other non‐governmental organizations, higher education institutions, embassies, and other constituencies.
