SUMMARY:Rally for Solar Energy
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to kick off the new year on a high note! Join fellow solar advocates at Chesapeake Climate Action Network’s (CCAN) rally at the Annapolis Statehouse as we show support for advancing solar energy across Maryland. \nWe’ll hear from legislators\, advocates\, and Delegate Lorig Charkoudian\, our fearless House sponsor for this year’s critical solar-reform bill that will allow the use of plug-in solar in the state. The bill also modifies Maryland’s solar incentive program to more effectively and fairly maximize the build-out of solar in the state. Together\, we’ll welcome the 2026 legislative session with a call for bold solar action. \nAnd yes: hot chocolate and donuts will be provided to keep us warm! Register for free here \n\n\n\n\nWednesday\, January 14\n10 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST \nMaryland State House\nAnnapolis\, MD 21401 \n\n\n\n\nRegister for free here
