The Montgomery County GreenFest Planning Committee has announced the entertainment lineup for the 2nd Annual GreenFest. It is the County’s largest environmental festival, a dynamic celebration to bring together a community dedicated to build a greener, healthier community locally and globally. This free event is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Through November 18th, the City of Takoma Park is offering a student competition open to all local college and university students in and around Montgomery County. The students who complete the most energy assessments for businesses in Takoma Park can win weekly green prizes, internship opportunities, and a grand prize scholarship.
