Energy Express is a summer event for kids and families to learn about energy usage. As a partnership between the Department of Environmental Protection and Montgomery County Public Libraries, these presentations will take place across the County’s libraries as part of the Summer Reading Program. And for the first time since 2019, Energy Express presentations
Throughout the year, we will be partnering with community organizations to provide residents with LED lightbulbs. DEP staff host light bulb swaps at libraries and at Summer community events. During the light bulb swaps, participants are asked to bring in their old incandescent or CFL lightbulb. In exchange, we provide up to 3 free LEDs
