DESCRIPTION:The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs’ (DCRA) Green Building Division and Small Business Resource Center are collaborating to host the August Green Building Professional Seminar Series. The topic is Build Green\, Save Green and will focus on restaurants and facilities with full service kitchens. \n  \nRestaurants today have many opportunities to make more sustainable choices. From food sourcing and energy usage to water consumption and waste management\, every touch point has an environmental impact. It’s the small adjustments to your operations that can create positive change across the cutting board.  Our August seminar will have a new format as we will be hosting a panel along with District vendors. Please forward this invitation to anyone who may be interested! RSVP for our seminar on August 28th to learn about how to reduce your kitchen’s environmental footprint and decrease costs. \nDCRA\, in partnership with the Pepco Edison Place Gallery\, is excited to offer the Green Building Professional Seminar Series. The seminars are hosted monthly\, from March – October 2019 and are free to attend. More details about the timeline of events can be found below. A certificate of completion will be provided for self-reporting continued education credits.
