SUMMARY:ENERGY STAR Tax Free Weekend Promotional Event
DESCRIPTION:ENERGY STAR Tax Free Weekend is a statewide sales tax holiday that highlights the importance of energy efficient appliances to the environment and residents’ pocketbooks. Every President’s Day weekend\, shoppers across Montgomery County can participate in the state’s Shop Maryland Energy Tax Free Weekend which gives residents a break on the six percent sales tax for qualifying ENERGY STAR products. \nIn an effort to support the ENERGY STAR Tax Free Weekend\, Pepco will be out and about in Montgomery County. \nFrom 12:01 a.m. on Saturday\, February 15\, through midnight on Monday\, February 17\, 2020\, qualifying ENERGY STAR products will be exempt from Maryland’s 6 percent sales tax. \nLearn more about ENERGY STAR Tax Free Weekend here.
