Join the Landscape Contractors Association of MD-DC-VA for a day of in-person training and panels where industry experts share valuable lessons from the field that fill the gap between sustainable ideas and practical applications.

Learn from Dan Mabe of AGZA (American Green Zone Alliance) how to transition from gasoline-powered outdoor power equipment to battery-powered outdoor power equipment and check out electric landscape equipment from manufacturers during breaks. Hear about the fascinating and important world of ecological landscaping from keynote speaker Doug Tallamy. In the afternoon, females leaders in the local industry will share how they have been pushing the industry to be more sustainable.

    When I was working on an air quality project in California we had Dan Mabe as one of our speakers. We were interested in the alternatives to the use of small off-road engines (SORE) in landscaping. Dan is an excellent speaker. His father had a landscaping business, Dan’s been building his knowledge since birth and is at the forefront of the transition that is underway. And Doug Tallamy is not to be missed. Looks like this will be an excellent program.
