Mid-Atlantic Climate Change Education Conference

Join us for the 5th Annual MACCE-Conference!

The conference gathers formal and nonformal educators across the Mid-Atlantic to share ideas, resources, and inspiration for advancing education for climate action. 

The conference will be virtual from 1pm to 4pm EST on June 25, 26 & 27, 2024

Registration is $20 to support speaker fees, virtual platforms, and scholarships.

Meet the Keynote for the Mid-Atlantic Climate Change Education Conference

Anya Kamenetz covered education for many years including for NPR, where she co-created the podcast Life Kit: Parenting with Sesame Workshop. She’s the author of five nonfiction books; her most recent is The Stolen Year: How Covid Changed Children’s Lives, And Where We Go Now. Kamenetz is currently an advisor to the Aspen Institute and the Climate Mental Health Network, working on new initiatives at the intersection of children, well-being and climate change.
